As corruption grows in 1950s Los Angeles, three policemen - one strait-laced, one brutal, and one sleazy - investigate a series of murders with their own brand of justice. For one of the first studios that was famous for releasing a wide variety of artier, more unique films, there's ORION Pictures (in its earlier decades, at least). Number 9 Films is an independent film company co-founded in 2002 by Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen.
